We invite you on a culinary adventure during which you will learn a lot about the traditional Polish cuisine and local alcohol.
Highlights:
– Try traditional Polish soup
– Learn the history about vodka produced in Gdańsk
– Drink a beer from a local brewery
– Find out where the famous dumplings come from.
During the tour you will learn about, as well as taste, the famous traditional Polish soup, called the Ukrainian Borsch . You will also be able to taste the traditional handmade dumplings commonly called „pierogi”. Of course, there will be also local alcohol to enjoy. You will taste local beers from a nearby brewery and shots of Polish vodka or liqueurs. There will also be an extraordinary treat – Juniper vodka, produced exclusively in Gdańsk market – Machandel from the Stobbe company, which is drunk in a unique, ritualistic way. Alternatively, it will be possible to taste special liquor, which was produced only in Gdańsk, and was drunk by the most famous cornered heads from Europe. Of course, I’m talking about Goldwasser vodka with 24 carat gold in it. To make this noble alcohol feast even more pleasant, we will try traditional Polish appetizers.
