This tour will take you on an amazing journey through the history of Gdansk, which like any other Polish city has left its mark on the history of Europe. A professional guide will tell you about the Teutonic Knights, the golden age of the seventeenth, the time of partition, and the Second World War. In the first part of the trip we will visit the most famous sites: Golden Gate, Long and Mary’s Street, Fountain of Neptune, Crane, and St. Mary’s Basilica. Then we will take The historical Galley which will swim on Motlawa River through Gdansk Shipyard where we will see huge ships under constructions or renovations at your fingerprints, ramps, dry dock or even historical buiulding from Prusian time when shipyard had the name Imperial Shipyard. At the end of our cruise we will dock on Gdansk Port quay and walk to the tip of Westerpaltte peninsula to see the place of the outbreak of World War II, where the guide will lead you through the nuances of complicated war history and describe warfare in Pomerania during September 1939 campain.
